I am beginning to think that HIV does not exist. I have yet to meet someone who admits that they are HIV+.
What is your experience? Does it exist or is it BS?

No one will admit it. Especially a SP as they won't get business and punter wont either for the fact that ladies will not risk it. It's definitely a reality.
HIV does exist. I have two friends (in Port Elizabeth) that is HIV positive. One of them got the disease through sexual encounters and the other through sharing a needle while using heroin.. It is definately out there. Just not everyone is willing to share their HIV status's. That is why everyone should know their status and get tested regularly. I go every 3 months for HIV and STD tests. And no...I do not have sexual encounters without as I prefer to be safe. But for my own knowledge and for my clients peace of mind, I do get tested regularly xxx
What planet are you on?
I personally know 3, perhaps 4 people who died because of it. An acquaintance has it, takes his meds and is still around. I'm sure there are people I know who have HIV+ but keep it to themselves.
Martini, even outside this industry, I have known directly 6 people who were HIV+. And lest you think it discriminates, 5 of those were white. 3 of those have died, while one looks great and seems very happy some 20 years on. Another one I hear is doing fine, while the last I have completely lost touch with.
I took an employee to a government hospital which was basically a warehouse for people to die of AIDS...filled completely. Sadly, the employee was not suffering from AIDS (I had paid for tests for that and TB), but probably had cancer. The government doesn't want to make diagnoses that require expensive treatment, it seems.
@ Tanya, just wondering what you will do should (I and really hope that this will never be the case) you test positive. Will you, or then any other WG testing positive, continue to work as a WG or not? Also will you continue to offer FH service or scale down the risk to clients by offering say massage only?
The recent increase in owo offers just show that people increasingly are not taking the risk of STD or HIV serious anymore. Even a slow down in business should not encourage WG's to offer the 'extra' or then unprotected service. this industry is risky enough!!!
@boobs...if I ever do get tested and the result shows positive, there is no way on this earth that I will ever endanger anyone by engaging in any sexual activity! I would think about a strictly massage policy or just go celebate all together. I would take the meds, stay healthy by following the correct diet and at least see my son grow up. Thats just my opinion xxx
