This all started a while ago when a client approached me for advice and help regarding an ex advertiser named Sharon(now banned from advertising on esa) who was trying to blackmail and extort money from him. I posted a thread on the forum asking for anyone else who had such problems, to report it to esa:

Anybody else (clients) been getting unsolicited messages from a certain ex advertiser for phone sex? Shit just got real with regards to blackmail and threats against clients whose numbers she obviously got here while advertising. 2 of my regulars in the space of 2 weeks have complained about this lady, but I'm sure there are many more.

Have contacted Esa and awaiting response from Matt as he's not in the office. Please forward your complaints to Esa admin if you have had similar problems with this girl. Your anonimity is better guarded in this manner. This is unacceptable and fucking low.

I have told said clients to get restraining orders, press charges and block her on everything.

Ladies, I'm asking a question with regards to this girl on the girls forum. Please go read and help if you can.

I then posted on the girls forum asking if anyone had any information as to Sharons real name so that my client could go lay charges and get a protection order or gag order against her. It was not necessary I'm sure, but would have saved him a lot of time and hassle in obtaining a court order to obtain the information from her phone number if it was in fact registered to her name. No one had any response except Shakira who pmed me, after we were warned to not engage each other on the forum anymore following a spat we had that derailed a few threads.

That would be great! Even if you just send her details to Esa and let them deal with the clients and the info. Also, report what she did to you and your client, even if it's a post on the girls forum under my post.My client politely asked her to stop sending the messages as he's married and then she started threatening him with the info she had on him and asked him what it's worth to him for her to keep quiet. He's beside himself with worry and asked me to try get her details because he can't really defend himself against her unless he gets a court order to trace her phone but the damage might already be done by then.

I thought it very admirable of Shakira to try to get this info for my client but never thought anything would come of it. I never heard back from her or anything more after this besides the post where Matt stated on the public thread I posted that Sharon was banned from advertising after all relevant info regarding the blackmail and unsolicited messages were sent into esa.

Below is a letter mailed to admin from one of our advertisers:

Good afternoon,
Ive been informed by Shakira that I have a hit on my life from esa and that Veronica informed everyone to look out for my whereabouts. I was shown the gun I will be shot with and that Antionette has apparently told them to go ahead.
I have requested a refund that has still not been paid and I was informed that it wont be paid back to me because a client paid me R60 000.
Please let me know as I will be going to the police to open a case of intimidation and that a hit is placed on my life.
A whole restaurant of people saw and heard this and was also captured on camera.
Shakira has been banned from the restaurant as she made a scene and showed her gun to me so management had to take action. Staff were given panic buttons due to fear of shots that could be fired.
Peoples lives were put in danger due to a death threat on my life enforced by esa, veronica, Antoinette and Shakira.
Please advise urgent

This is so ludicrous that it doesn't even deserve any response from any person with even limited intelligence.

I was banned from posting on the forum that same day and Shakiras profile was completely banned. The post from esa admin came after I tried to log in and realized I was banned from posting. I informed the ladies at Joyville, but was okay with my banning since I have expected it for a long time. It just seemed a bit late given that I wasn't in any trouble for a few days preceding this bullshit. I was on the phone with a concerned client when he was reading the forum and informed me of the post by esa. Joy was trying to call in the meanwhile wanting to know wtf was going on since I was banned from posting and now this as it made me look guilty by default. I also saw 2 calls on my phone call register from the day before from Shakira. One around 5pm and the other around 10pm. We were all out enjoying a day off that a client paid us for, so we were not answering our phones that day!

I then called Antoinette laughing in shock at what I had just read and if there was any truth to it. She assured me that I was temporarily banned because of various complaints received and it was just a cooling off period. Happy with that and not knowing if there was any truth to whether Shakira had in fact done all that Sharon reported, I left it at that, knowing full well that Shakira is capable of doing and saying things in a drunken state and that it would not be flattering to her if I pushed for answers. I was angry of coarse that my name came into one of her drunken ramblings, but I actually felt sorry for her.

Now before anyone attacks me with regards to that statement, Shakira threatened to have me arrested by the drug squad at last years Christmas social at Pharaohs while in an extremely drunk state. She also claimed to have bought out 70% of Teazers on that same day in front of various witnesses including Minime (DIRECTORSSS) whom was my date at that function. He excused her words and actions because she was drunk. I too got drunk at Pharaohs later that day, so never put any credence into her words. Many stories about her have surfaced and done the rounds about her actions in inebriated states. Most would not come forward as I'm sure that they are afraid of their own skeletons coming out of the closet, but it is not for me to divulge. Point being that Gary G attacked Joy after she told him to leave it between ESA and Shakira as she has had her own experiences with Shakira getting wasted and knew that whatever the story was, the outcome probably wouldn't be very good for Shakira and could probably be very embarrassing. But he has pushed and carried on about Joys character and at the end of it all, he insists on defending the honor of Shakira even though many know what she is capable of when drunk. Joy has been accused of throwing Shakira under the bus, but has had no reason to defend Shakira. She was even accused of defending me to protect the income she supposedly gets from me. (Joy does more bookings then any of us in the house at a higher rate so she hardly needs to defend the comparative peanuts she makes off me) I am a girl working in Joys house, so naturally she knows me better and tried to give my side of the story that she knew of, then her character was attacked. I wouldn't have given a shit to post this at all, but Gary_G has pushed to far now only knowing one side of a story even after having egg in the face after 2 witnesses came forward on his thread about Shakiras banning, who according to him are questionable because they are not avid posters on the forum like himself!

You want to carry on about having balls to defend a friend Gary, yet Joy, Tanya, Julia and many more have come forward to defend me and I defend them knowing full well who they are, not just by work, but as personal friends that I see daily and have all been there for me in tough times. You defend Shakira from a few visits as a client and maybe a few phone calls. Paige knows Shakira from 1 piss up and maybe a few calls and daily messages. Your insistence on Joys character being flawed because of this is ludicrous and I believe after what has transpired since all of this came up, that you owe Joy an apology.

No one is disputing that Shakira meant well, but once she gets over intoxicated, her actions are questionable and therefore the story that Sharon put forward might have had some truth to it. We certainly will not defend Shakiras actions if we have reasonable doubt to believe she was saying things while intoxicated. If you want to defend her actions out of some misplaced sense of nobility, then go ahead. Just shows that you know nothing! I always say this forum is smoke and mirrors and you as clients are only privileged to a tiny fraction of the politics and truths that go on behind the forum.

From one addict to another, I hope Shakira realizes she has a problem and gets help! A real friend would tell her the same thing! But clients and her so called friends instead encourage her on this forum.

I am lucky that I found Joy and the ladies here, who even go to the lengths of dragging me out of bed when I'm depressed and buy me meds and drop it off at my house when I'm not feeling well. They are REAL friends because they support me and keep me strong from one day to the next!

Thank you Joy for defending me and for taking shit from people like Gary_G unnecessarily on my behalf. And thank you to DIRECTORSSS (Minivee, lol). You know us following almost daily visits and discussions spanning over a few months since I met you on the day of the Christmas social. You introduced me to Joy and I couldn't thank you enough for the change in my life because of your faith in me and the kindness you show continuously as a friend and a client here at Joyville.

The first time I saw Shakira was at Leyd street venue in Arcadia/Sunnyside many, many years ago.
The very last time I saw Shakira was at pre-HOE venue where I was a regular with Jessie and Kate only.

I'm surprised she could threaten anyone even with arrest, considering how small she is.

Btw, I also found it odd that not a single one of her admirers or friends saw the warning signs when she "popped" the bubbly early in the day very frequently. Not good.

Then again, Shakira is not the only WG with addiction problems. Very prevalent. But she needs help.

I think she backed off. Even if she went ahead with pressing charges as per her email, Sshe would have to explain blackmail and extortion on her side, so maybe she grew a brain.
