I don't know of specific houses, but as for areas you might also consider Studio City, West Hollywood, Burbank, Pasadena. Van Nuys is a bit dodge...
Also stay away from East LA...

Just be careful for the law and gang activity. Both parties are very territorial.

I guess its none of my business, but I would be terrified to work in a foreign country without knowing someone I can trust or fully support me if shit hits the fan.
With you asking for advice from fellow South Africans gives me this understanding.
I sincerely hope I'm wrong and that you are confident with the idea of working in LA. I just feel obliged to put forward my concerns as I would feel terrible to not state them and you disappear without anybody's knowledge.

My two cents would be to stay away from trying to work.

You do not want to piss on anyone's territory and tips from other girls which s bound to happen to law enforcement will definitely be followed up as it's very territorial.

Once arrested you will no longer be able to enter the US and probably Europe,Canada or Australia as they share data bases due to the worldwide terror threat.

Mate of mine was busted for working illegally there 20 years ago and still can't get a visa to visit his family.

But hey maybe you get lucky...

Was in LA about 2 years ago, didn't punt but was a huge place and obvious places to avoid etc. But if I did go to punt would check out that forum for some pointers. Could be helpful from a lady's perspective as well

I have been to several European countries it's not easy to work there on your "tourist visa."Most wgs there are permanent residents or citizens and they pay tax to the government.
