Let me share some light as to why it's been requested gentlemen:
Most guys will say "I am on my way now" you put on your make up,dress up and they don't show up, so "the call me when you are close" comes up as a safer option.

I think the way you work is far better and more fair. It gets awkward being in an area you aren't familiar with and you suddenly have to stop on the side of the road in a residential area. We end up looking suspicious for a number of things
