Has anyone been to the Grand in Rivonia recently?


How was your experience?

I have heard that their standards have dropped and that there is more local girls than Europian girls...? In addition to the above, the girls force full house services on you and get snotty when you decline.

We are planning a bachelors for a mate and I am left wondering if it wouldn't be a better idea to rent a house for a weekend and have some ladies over instead...

Rent a house for weekend. Organize proper girls and booze. It's way beta and cheaper.

Girls and booze are incredibly expensive. Last I heard is that it cost about R850 to get in - for that price just to get in and then add the price of lap dances it is far cheaper to rent a house and get your own girls - depending on what you want maybe just go to hoe. Enjoy

This obviously won't help Ruan, but if I manage to get some free time before going on holiday, I'll take a peek inside and report back - for those interested in the info, that is.

With that being said , strip clubs appear to be losing their appeal very quickly in Jo'burg. Not sure whether it's due to the current economical climate or not. I used to hit a strip club prior to evening bookings just to get the blood flowing.

R800 gets you in. Girls are average. Mix of local and eastern European. Imo, local girls were better. Table dances and private dances are disappointing . They will try to start high like R1500 for a table dance but you can negotiate it down to about 500. Just remember prices are not fixed . You will get some girls repeatedly trying their luck despite you telling them you are not interested. Don't be too nice. Don't waste your money on private/table dances. Booze is expensive as expected. Food is great as always but standards have dropped slightly.

I was there two months ago...entrance 800 bucks....table dance 1000....private 1500....

Then if you drinking shots etc etc.....it can get pricey....

Standards of ladies definitely not what it used to be....

I would say you ought to work on approx 5 to 6k per person minimum...then if you get pissed and decide to go for extras that could be anything from another 2k to 6k.( yes have learnt the drunken "hard" way..lol)

Be warned there are some complete dogs there and those are the ones who try the hardest to persuade you to open your wallet. Funniest was this old colored aunty that tried to convince us that she was Russian ;P...then there was some ugly from benoni that just wouldn't shut the fuck up.

It seems to be a favorite place for the saps guys to grab a quick bite...disgusting pieces of shit eating in broad daylight dressed in full uniform ...No shame. Apparently the cops get a free ride there ...makes you think what I'd going on behind the scenes.

Cops used to do the same thing at Teazers back when Lolly was still around.

They've increased their prices and dropped their standards... Sounds like Eskom all over again hahaha
