@Jewel

We all have regrets. You cannot blame yourself. I feel for you, especially this time of the year.

I can only hope that you will gain strength, after everything you have been through.

I wish you the best.

Dear Jewel,

Your post touched me and I can't even emagine what your year was like!

I suppose no matter what one has gone through I guess it could have been worse!
I thought my family went through hell this year but clearly nothing like yours!

I pray that God may
Bless you!
Bless your heart !
Bless your life!
Bless your family!
Bless your health!
Bless your finances!
Bless 2018 that it is one of the best for you!

Thank you for helping me realize how lucky and grateful I am!

REMEMBER

Hugs and kisses

I know the pain of losing a close friend (also my doggie) and the fact is that it hurts just as bad as losing a human, if not more sometimes...

I know it's heartbreaking, Jewel, but rest assured that although it never disappears completely, the pain does subside... and is replaced with fond memories.

I'd like to get my hands on THE ASSHOLE who did that to her... karma is a bitch, and it will come around.

I know you're trying to be positive in this post, my outburst probably doesn't contribute... but people who could do that to a helpless animal just make me furious... so apologies for the angry thoughts, but they remain assholes anyway.

Shine, girl, shine...

I know that but if tge wereckless or negligent acts of another person led to tge death of someone then there are serious legal imolications.

Anyway tge question was asked for a particular reason . You seem to want to add your 2 cents everywhere. Did i say anywhere that a human life is more valuable than an animals? Why do you assume things? Why dont you go hit the gym.

Hi everyone thanks so much for the messages of support and understanding. I'm sorry I'm unable to reply to everyone individually. I needed to take a break from the forum for a few days....I just couldn't handle all the toxicity and negativity....Unfortunately I'm an empath and feel too deeply....I still blame myself because I should've felt her pain as she was dying and rushed her immediately to the professional instead of cleaning up all the vomit so others wouldn't get sick....I wasn't given all the information at the time and only received it after the fact. I'm taking guidance from others who've gone through similar experiences and as one gent said above it does become easier with time....its the way she suffered before she died that I can't get out of my mind and heart....and I only wish I'd been given information about dead birds on the property earlier that day instead of after I brought my dead child home. Studies have proven that losing a pet can be as or even more traumatic than losing a human. Friends and family sent me various articles on the above fact. As a student of behaviour there is also a scientific reason I still feel the way I do 6 months down the line. Because I'm a single person my animals are my life and my children and all I do is so that I can keep a roof over our heads and food in our tummies. If business is bad as it has been for most of this year I make sure they have everything they need first and I go with less. It's what a parent does as many of you can relate. She was in my life for 9 years, flying with me to Cape Town for holidays, driving between the two cities when we moved, I never left her at home even when I went to the shop for half an hour. Single people who lose their pet children really battle because they have no one to really turn to and the pain is deep because the loss is like losing a part of oneself. Having to euthanize due to old age is one thing but watching someone die of poison and not knowing....then to get to the vet to be told "your dog has 5% chance of surviving" when you didn't even know she was dying.....that will haunt me until I die. Now I know what to look out for and my puppy wears a muzzle now when she goes outside...but it all could've been so different if humans had cared just a little bit....It seems too many of us have forgotten how to care and look out for another...instead we harm and hurt and go out of our way to make life as difficult as we can for others. I'm not saying everyone....but I've come across far too many intent on harming than helping. When all the drama unfolded on Wednesday a woman called my friend Paige to tell her I was "conspiring with her enemy"....to what end? To drive the knife even further into a gaping wound? Give me a non human animal any day. Humans I will never understand. My animal children give me unconditional love like no human ever can. I'm truly grateful they bless my life everyday. Wishing you all a blessed safe weekend and ladies I trust next week will be a heck of a lot better than this week....love and light

Jewel, no need to apologise. I am so glad I visited you on the day I did and I truly hope I helped you to some degree with your recovery progress. I hope to see you again soon but will need to chat to you before I do so. I think you are an amazing person and I hope you stay just the way you are.
