Realize that other people's rudeness is not about you. When someone is rude, it is likely to be a reflection of their own issues.

Ask yourself what else the comment or behavior might mean. For example, if someone does not say hello they might be shy.

Take comments or criticism in a constructive way. Ask yourself if there's any truth in it, and what can you learn.

Take a different perspective. Ask yourself how an unbiased outsider would see the situation.

Realize that you cannot please everyone.

Know that you're not defined by your mistakes or criticism.

Realize that your self-worth depends on you. It does not depend on what others say about you.

Hugs

Lady Sade you are a wise woman...may I just add-
Don't take yourself to seriously, learn to laugh at yourself.
We're all just a bunch of numnuts pretending that we know where we're going; )

I try to be truthful at all times. I am told I am harsh, arrogant rude obnoxious etc etc. What I am finding is people do not like the truth and say you are rude etc. I am not saying this is the problem in your instance, but maybe they don't like your honesty?

Sage you really made me laugh now!

No, I do not always take things too serious. If you do not laugh at things you will end up crying, as the saying goes.

To me honesty is the best policy Tegwane. If you not honest, then you just fooling yourself.

Yes sometimes honesty does hurt. As the saying goes "Rather hurt me with the truth but never comfort me with a lie"

Agreed, but are you not finding the snowflakes take umbrage and outrage at the slightest criticism?
