Any one been to Amsterdam recently? Is English recurrent there. I did not go to Russia for the FIFA WC because I understand that your are f... if you don't have a Russian translator if you are on your own and MAFIA is not scarce either in Sotchi or Ekatarinburg or Moscow.

I am looking to go there in August during the European Summer. Any advice on punting as well most welcome, costs.

@Jackribet..Amsterdam has people from different countries you will fit in perfect..you should also do outings on the boats on canals while you enjoy your drinks.Madame tussauds museum and there is a place where they perform live sex.In their brochures you will find many amazing places to visit.

For 60 euros you will spend 15/20 minutes with a nice lady in a small uncomfortable room. In and out so fast I challenge You to remember the girl's face!! You can get a 5 star treat all right ..... Above R3000! With the same investment, you would enjoy top end punting in SA for a looong time!! My advice? Enjoy the beer, fill your eyes ..... and save your money to punt here. Don't forget the exchange rate, 15 to 1!!
