Haha. Laptops.

A few years ago you'd sit in a restaurant for lunch and someone would rip out their laptop and everyone would look at the person thinking "wow, must be a VIP. CEO or marketing director at least..."

These days you see someone do that you think "poor schmuck, must be just below middle management.".

Dont really understand your comment as being funny or sarcastic.

But I will certainly not be pulling it out in the middle of a restaurant and start making a video of playing with myself.

I think I would rather ask the CEO to make a video of us lol he he he xxxxx

I wasn't trying to be funny or sarcastic.A laptop used to be a status symbol, now it's not anymore. Just like cellphones used to be, then smartphones. My comment didn't have anything to do with the topic really. Just a simple observation.

And now I feel the need to share a story. Many years ago, when people just started using the first cellphones that were the approxomate size and weight of a brick and those people liked to take them out in public and talk as loud as they could so that everyone would notice them, I had a friend. He had been unemployed for some time and eventually he got a job. The guy that gave him the job didn't pay him a salary, but gave him a cellphone to use. This friend of mine was genuinely chuffed about the 'deal'. His wife, not so much. She divorced him a few months later because he refused to look for a job that paid real money...
