For me the best method has always been to tell the lady what it is you want and assume that you will pay their hourly rate for as long as you spend company together. If the lady decides to discount or propose something else then that is her right to do and your right to refuse or accept.

Better to save and have as much cash as you need, if not more, than to do something like this on a budget.

I've had incredible results with candlelit restaurants, the Whiskey Festival, the White Picnic at the Vaal (clothing not race people!) and a few others.

Just remember this is the ladies business, she chooses the rates, don't negotiate, don't expect more that you request upfront, be a gentleman and you'll have a great time.

If I were in your situation I would book a date with someone on a date site so my cost is limited to dinner - and then if things don't go further book a WG afterwards.

I am assuming since you are single so no harm can come from trying a dating site. Why would you want to pay someone to feed them ... :)

This makes me think of a by-line some of us used. Back in the day some guys pushed their luck by thinking that taking a wg for dinner would lead to a free fuck and we'd say 'I don't fuck for a plate of food'.... Not quite what this post is about, I know.
