Strange Message on one of my work Phone.

Last night after getting home from the social. I decided to have a look at what was happening with my work phones. The strangest message was on my Phone.
It said Hi I need your help I was arrested and I am in a holding cell. Please send me airtime so I can call my family.
My question is if he was arrested would they not have confiscated his phone and give him 1 call either to his lawyer or his family to arrange a lawyer.
Further more why would he contact me a random stranger to help.
Dont get me wrong. I don't mind helping if I can which I am able to but this is just all weird.

Ahhh thanks guys I appreciate it. I missed this by not reading the forum and logging on much lately. I guess I must make time to read the forum again busy or not and to think I would have helped if I didn't question myself.
