I think the women may have fallen for his appearance anyway, even if he had posed with an average house etc. To catch the eye of an attractive person makes anyone feel flattered. The billionaire persona simply served to make them believe he had no reason to swindle them.

Yes it is surprising that they let it go so far, but we want to believe the best of people. The fact that people will use other people's loneliness and yearning for connection to defraud them is awful, regardless of whether we think the victims were overly naive.

I will agree with Miss Red though, Tinder is no place for nice people
