You have seriously overvalued your opinion...

Someone hit the nail on the head, most circumcisions are based on culture. This culture was based on the hygiene issue from yesteryear where modern soaps were not avalable. If you can't clean it and it gets infected without modern medicine, you're in trouble. So was a cut on the finger 500 years ago in Europe.

These days with modern soaps a wash once a day will ensure you are cheese free.
The rest is just a matter of opinion and personal preference.
