Personally your review seemed very balanced and also considered. Didn't get a malicious vibe at all. I would still have considered going there. However the response does fill me with a bit of dread.

Agreed, West End gave constructive feedback and that's what this review section is meant for. His ratings were also above average except for venue cleanliness which was also NOT below average and she has clearly conceded to the venue issue. She sounds pleasant over the phone, but her response on the forum has put me off.
