I realise that this is a highly provocative thread. My intention is to illuminate the glaring discrepancies between what people say they don't do and what they in fact DO do. If more people realised just how commonplace their "perverted" fantasies really are, they would be inclined to allow themselves the freedom to entertain and eventually enact them. BE FREE :-)

AS AN ASIDE: We...punter and escort (male, female, shemale) are all in the same boat...rowing towards the island of self-deception, on which LOVE is for sale (by the hour). Result? Disillusioned punters who finally realise that LOVE cant be bought and a percentage of escorts who feel that they have to sacrifice being loved for being paid.

Let me just state that I don't hate homophobes, I just condemn their hate speech, which leads to hate crimes. It is unacceptable and if the perpetrators think that it bolsters their masculinity, think again, really think.

[QUOTE;456969;trompie123] You sure deal with authority about a very touchy subject..you did not take a stance yet...testing the water...I respecfully want to differ..I think the statement sound too wide..homophobic...I didnt check the dictionary definition.[/QUOTE]

TROMPIE123...The following article validates what you have stated. Homophobia versus homonegativism. I am no authority on this topic - just offering my subjective opinion, helped along by some objective data ;-)

@Leila B, just an interesting aside... What is you take on the idea of these American evangelists going to places like Uganda and influencing African policy in terms of restrictions to the LGBT community with their direct intervention.

For me I am of the opinion it is deplorable and take great pains to give them the finger when ever I see them in Uganda, I am not gay but as I have family members who are and have been since before Eugene fell off his horse, I also live permanently in the most gay friendly town in Spain with many friends so I typically find these religious bigots offensive to point that I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.

Seems to me that we are starting to see their rise in South Africa as well at the moment and this is now also influencing our own politicians who are clearly stepping out and stating their own bigotry in this regard such as the young lady from ANCYL who was on the news ? As someone who (forgive me) is labeled at Transgender do you find this seeping into your life more and requiring more of your attention ?

DEAMONZA...My heart goes out to the LGBT folk in Uganda who are being persecuted and killed.

Religion is probably the oldest business in this world, so one can only imagine what financial resources those "men of God" have at their disposal and what persuasive donations they are making to their chosen candidates. James Buturo reportedly dropped the death penalty from the "kill the gays bill" (as it is being called) claiming, "We now think a life sentence could be better, because it gives room for offenders to be rehabilitated. Killing them might not be helpful." So...giving them access to an "eat as much as you like buffet" will be "helpful"? Okay, makes sense. This extract from an editorial in THE AUSTRALIAN rings very true, "It is easy to stand up for universal values of liberty against a small nation in East Africa; yet are we prepared to do so against more formidable powers that abuse the human rights of their citizens?"

Iran carries out more GRS (Gender Reassignment Surgery) than any other nation in the world, except for Thailand. These surgeries are financed by the state. Thereafter, these transsexuals are accorded all the rights genetic females have - and yet homosexuals are prosecuted and face the punishment of lashing or even death under Iran's penal code! DISINGENUOUS.

Africa (the jewel in her crown, RSA, included) is playing catch up with the rest of the so-called civilised world. We have a way to go before we become as tolerant as they seem to be regarding LGBT issues, but let us remind ourselves that they were, where we now are, just a few short decades ago. South Africa's constitution is one of the most liberal, advanced ones in the world, but we South Africans have a long way to go before our attitudes and regard for those we deem "different to us" embrace and reflect it. That said, I will not trade my country for any other in the world. My right to freedom of expression as a transgendered individual and my right to self determination is enshrined in our constitution. It's not all good - but it certainly "aint all bad :-)

BRAVO! BRAVO!! BRAVO!!! COTTON PICKIN MOUTHFUL...www.youtube.com/watch

No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.

What lovely clothes the emperor is NOT wearing ;-)

That was the original post on this thread, but, alas, the link is bwoken :-( Here is the same article baklapoako.com/country-watches-gay-porn/

Here is a copy and paste of the article (just in case). ENJOY :)))

"And the country that watches the most gay porn is…

Kenya is the country that Googles the most gay porn.

According to Google’s search rankings Kenya tops the list, with searches for ‘gay sex pics’ and ‘gay porn pics’ outranking the same search conducted by people in Western countries.

South Africa is second, followed by Pakistan and Nigeria.

This is when 92% of Kenyans claim to believe that homosexuality is ‘unacceptable’. Gay sex is punishable with up to 14 years in jail.

In recent months, some lawmakers have been calling for a Uganda-style anti-homosexuality bill to toughen up the law.

Denis Nzioka, Kenya gay rights activist, said there’s ‘nothing surprising about this’.

‘[It shows] countries with the highest intolerance for gay people have the highest numbers of people searching gay terms online,’ he added.

The top 10:

10. Canada
9. United Kingdom
8. United States
7. Australia
6. Philippines
5. India
4. Pakistan
3. Nigeria
2. South Africa
1. Kenya

It's very important that we realise and accept the fact that most predjudice is the result of propoganda (programming). Most folks have no idea why they think the way they do. They hardly ever seem to question the irrationality of "their" beliefs.

Here is an interesting fact; there are much, much more misandrists (man-haters) amongst men than there are misogynists(woman-haters) amongst women.

Our (South)African mindset is considered primitive by the "more evolved" societies. The women of our population face HUGE levels of abuse, violence and discrimination on an ongoing basis. It is sadly "the norm" over here. That said, there now seems to be a rise of misandrist propoganda in these "more evolved" societies, as a backlash to misogyny. Misandry and misogyny are but two sides of the same sexist coin. Nowhere in human history have two wrongs ever equaled a right. This is yet another attempt by the puppetmasters at perpetuating the "US vs THEM" mindset, which serves to prevent most from seeing things as they truly are and then developing actual awareness i.e. THE ABILITY TO THINK FOR THEMSELVES.

It is my theory that the men who are always at pains to (unsolicitedly) declare that they are not sexually interested in anything but women, secretly have crushes on some of their buddies and the resultant conflict occupies most of their waking hours. Sad state of affairs. They also probably have some naughty/nasty dreams in which their BROMANCE is consummated. Sweet :-)

My advice: IF YOU WANT A PAIR, PLEASE GROW A PAIR ALREADY.
