To my friend
I hope that the operation yesterday was a success and wish you all the best.
A pity it is your working hand, the other one is not as well versed in the mundane tasks that need to be performed on a daily basis with the learned hand, and just two tasks jump to mind :
1.) Brushing teeth
2.) Wiping your ass
Hope you have some support in terms of at least the above.

His operation was a success. He is recovering well, and will be attending tomorrow at HOE.
He is on meds, so not drinking. Which is great, because tomorrow I am letting the dogs loose. All my pent up frustrations will be washed away with Bacchus's finest and debauchery will follow as sure as th esun will rise in the east.

Sadly I'm in brogues today and they have me in meetings to the hilt. I will try my utmost to get there though, perhaps I'll have a strategic cancellation. If I don't make it please have one on me and some meds for the other Gentleman lol
