Last night I was sitting in the hotel foyer of the hotel I am staying in and was watching with interest the comings and goings of people. there were definitely a few WG's making their way to clients rooms but what was interesting was that not many appealed to my sense of what I find attractive to take the punting plunge. That is my preference though and i do understand that we all have different tastes.

It got me thinking though, how many times have you seen a profile and thought that the woman was the perfect fit only to find when you meet them that its nowhere what you thought its going to be. I also have gone on a few sterling reviews only to be bitterly disappointed the moment that door is opened and certainly I have watered down my expectations greatly in recent times. This has led to me punting less and less to be honest.

So the question is how do you reconcile your fantasies and realities and what makes you go head with the booking anyway? Rarely do the women in the pictures look like what they do because of all the camera angle, make up, dress and exposure tricks going on. this doesn't mean that they are butt ugly or don't meat the criteria but it kind of bursts the bubble a tad bit. I think that can be said for the 'real' world dating scene as well but honestly fantasy vs reality. When has the fantasy come true and when have you said....fuck this I've been duped or thought 'what on earth was said punter thinking?

simple. You list your non-negotiables and ensure that the photos meet them. Then you will end up with a dozen or so profiles, then you look at the nice-to-haves and call those with the best combination.

The zero-th law of punting photos is: if you cannot see something in the photo it is because she does not want you to see it. So if you cannot see her stomach, it is because she does not want you to see it.

For me the non-negotiable is boobs showing (at least one nipple), as well as stomach or face showing. No boobs, no booking. If these are met then it is rare that I get badly disappointed.

It also means that I can sift through the profiles MUCH faster because not many women show nipples. I have particular tastes in boobs which change with my mood.

For you, decide what the non-negotiables are and rigidly stick to it.

@johnd...I receive many compliments on my photos...I get told that I leave something for the imagination, and something to discover. I also regularly get told that my pics do not do me justice. Not everyone choosing to dress a little "more" has anything to hide. I am blessed enough to have no stretchmarks, yet sometimes I choose to wear an outfit that hides my stomach.
@10Four...I have told many a client that if they arrive and are unhappy with what they see, they have every right to say "No thank you" and walk away. Personally, I feel, that is the way it should be.
As for fantasies: if you really really want that...discuss it beforehand...and it can be played out.
