The scary thing is he admits in the interview that since his diagnosis he has had unprotected sex, but that the partners in question knew about his status and that they were treated, which I assume means they took ARV's afterwards to prevent infection. His doctor was also on the show and said his virus levels are undetectable so the risk of him having passed it to partners are extremely low. If there are any law suites and any go to trial it is going to be interesting the expert evidence on HIV and the transmission thereof that will likely be led by doctors and other experts.
I've always admired the guy, not that his life has been an example to anyone, but at least he is honest about who and what he is and he has always faced the consequences like a man, never hiding in the shadows when a scandal breaks. He testified at the Heidi Fleiss trial while many celebs went into hiding, even admitted to spending over USD50k on hookers and that he likes the "cheerleader" types, was open about his drug addiction and his obsession with sleeping with porn stars and the money he spent on these past times. Many people (and that would include most of us on this site) wear masks while we do what we do in the shadows. Although it is understandable, for various reasons, we have family to protect etc, but there is something to admire about his openness. A lot of people are no better than Charlie Sheen, but the world just don't know what they do.
