Home test not very reliable, if either you or the lady was infected 4 to 5 days before the test, the home test would show negative, and the home test only test for HIV and no other STD's.

Obviously we don't know what's going on in the mind of the OP; but it appears as if HIV is a concern.

A negative test (even on an unreliable test) would be some comfort as it would rule out the 'living with HIV' SP. I would imagine any SP in this category would not respond anyway. Thus the SP responding would be very confident of her 'safety precautions'.

BTW, even a blood/ lab test doesn't rule out the window period. You have to conduct 2 test within a certain time period.

Some SPs do test regularly. It may be easier for the OP to ask her to share her last test results (or last 2 if his paranoid). This way he'd be confident that the SP takes her sexual health very serious.

Then there are the obvious questions about anonymity and disclosure that will be extremely difficult to pass amongst strangers.

And I suppose the elephant in the room. Why does the OP want to know. Is he planning on engaging in risky sex?

The bottom line. You can't really be confident in someone else's safe sex practices. You have to take care of your own. Set your own limits and boundaries that will reduce your own risks.

Virtually zero risk for insertive partner to get HIV from vaginal sex. With a condom zero risk for sure. If you want to be double 100% sure, just go on Truvada. I read that they are very close to curing HIV in any case. Much more worried about genital warts. And to a lesser extend Herpes. Both of those much worse than HIV in my opinion.

Intresting topic. Nice one Michelle. Can still remember when a certain ex wg regular wg schooled me on that. Gosh I miss that connection I strangely bumped into her and her kids last weekend at a mall no coincidence and got a nice hug but she had to hurry of ad she was with her boyfriend. As an SP that's been in this industry for a while, every punter that has come with this this "can you do a rapid HIV test" HAS ALWAYS but ALWAYS tried to break the condom, or attempted to remove the condom during the session. So unfortunately due to past experiences when this question pops up my first response is WHAT DO YOU AS THE PUNTER WANT TO COME DO THAT POSES A RISK TO ME AND MY HEALTH or even crosses my boundaries...

I personally get tested regularly so I know I'm safe but when a punter asks thar, to me it's an immediate red flag and I'd rather just move along
