I had a regular much like you. I lost more money through the cancellations than I made from actual booking done and paid for. I have to add he always called to cancel. Pity he never thought to make up for it like you did. I quite like the guy but I had to make a business decision. I told him what I'd been losing and he understood. We now have a different arrangement which works better for both of us.

The best way to handle this for new meets: put the clients number on our private advertisers forum. Laides must save these numbers and not answer when they call. I do this for all cases ie: no pay, abusive etc and believe me they call! Its the only way to manage the rotten apples.

For regular clients: Dont feel bad ... they showing you their true colors, they are players and they playing. But should they not have the basic manners, common standard courtesy of letting you know if they cant make it, do yourself a favor and forget about them all together. its a new behavior which you can now expect from them.
