Ive never liked the idea of a punting phone. I think it would be much harder to explain why I have a phone hidden somewhere (think scene from breaking bad when the phone in the ceiling starts ringing - immediatly suspicious).
I rather just be very careful with my normal phone.
After speaking to any wg i immediately block her from calls, smss and whatsapps incase they return my calls or decide to send promotional info.
and i always delete my footprints. kill messages. disable gps. always use inprivate browsing etc. I even go as far as to run all traffic through a paid vpn

I had a client that came to see me a few times.. He also used to whatsapp me to chat. One morning he called me and when I answered it was his wife.. She was swearing and carrying on.. I remembered he owns a butchery so I told her I supply chicken and I dont know why she is calling me and accusing me of nonsense.

She apologised and dropped the phone... Id rather make up some story than get my client into trouble.

After that i blocked him since his wife is already onto him...

Stupidity and being daft are traits inherent in one's genes, and unfortunately some of them whilst being in relationships also become punters. In this game only the witty and sharp survive, so it is imperative for punters to have discretion, several exit routes and a sense of knowing when to abort a visit. As a lesson from our schooling days 'if ur'e gonna cheat make sure u don't get caught'

Ok so correct me if Im wrong. All a wife,girlfriend, boyfriend needs to do is take the number dialled and add it to contacts. If the service provider has a whatsapp account the punters other half can go into whatsapp and see the profile photo. There are a few MG/WG's that have whatsapp accounts with suggestive photos. I would tell your clients to delete the call made to yourself. Imagine the wife calls, she buys the story that you used his plumbing / electrician services only for her to go verify your apperance on whatsapp.

I have had something likewise, I called a number of a MG girl that has left the industry. She answered by saying " please call back with your number displayed". I always have my personal number hidden.

So I called back, but did not make a booking. Some time later I got a whatsup saying "hi, just letting you know I'm back working again".

Now imagine if my phone was on the kitchen table.
