Makes me think of this one joke a Scotsman once told me. He went to a standup comedy club once. The comedian on stage was telling jokes about sex. Then he made the mistake of choosing someone in the audience to ask a question too. The mistake was choosing this scottish friend of mine.

The comedian asked: "Do you talk to your wife right after sex sir?"

My friend answered: "Sure, if there is a telephone handy!"


The comedian had no comeback and the audience were in tatters.

Here's what I love, and what so few guys think to do.

Right after. You're collapsed, sated, done catching your breath... the bells have all rung, the show is otherwise well and truly over. A minute or two after, when normally you'd be getting up to go grab a smoke or clean up or whatever: pull your girl close to you again, and give her a deep, long, INTIMATE kiss. Not a 'Thanks babe' peck before you get moving again, or even just your average 'One last for the road' smooch, but a TRUE kiss, full of passion and intimacy and care. So few guys think to do this, and it makes you feel loved and appreciated like almost nothing else. Girls don't expect it at that late stage, which is maybe what makes it the best feeling EVER. Like the polar opposite of that totally awful wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am aftermath.

A guy I was seeing casually used to do this, and I'd just melt right there in his bed....

Such beautiful memories....
