Hi All,

I believe I was victom to a scam, which I wish to alert all members to.

I responded to an advert in The Star newspaper, for an exclusive adult party. I made many phonecalls to the organiser, checking information and details along the way. The organiser appeared to be very experienced in hosting such parties, and the procedure he gave me appeared legit. I didnt think twice when I was asked to pay the joining fee via EFT the day before the party. Once payment was through I received further details, including street address and entry code. When the time arrived I was unable to find the address. The organiser even called me to ask where I was, and offered to fetch me. That didnt happen. The organiser then never answered my calls again. On further investigation I found that the address doesnt actually exist. I lost my money.

Anyone heard of a similar, sad story ;)?

been discussed on this forum long ago.. same M.O the doos simply changes his cell nr and places ads in various newspapers, along the lines of daily parties, lunchtime parties, weekend parties etc...

don't fall for that 'meet single/marries horney women' scam either...
