Just curious, I know some WGs visit other cities to work and I've always wonder when and why you choose the ones you do? Is it that a punter (or punters) invite you specifically or is it just a question of three months in JHB, one in CPT, one in DBN and repeat or something like that?

This also intrigues me.
I know there are some ladies who follow the trade shows and other big events (sporting or otherwise).
What I also ponder from time to time is whether any ladies visit countries like Holland, Belgium, Germany etc to earn a few Euros?

Girls follow the money. Established ones never really move around. Sometimes 3 weeks are busy and one week quiet. Then you go to another city to fill up the weeks earnings. Eventually built up a client base. Becomes profitable.

Makes sense but with the amounts they pay per day at hotel, I can imagine a whole week quiet being a financial blow

Speaking from experience... and my generalized opinion only...

About 2 years ago, when I started here I went straight into traveling. Each trip highly profitable with no regulars anywhere.

Fast forward to beginning of last year. Regulars in every city, but with each trip taking less and less home, untill finally, towards year end I started going home with losses.

Financially it doesn't make any sence to travel anymore especially since we can't request deposits or guarantee promises.

I figuire its because of the drastic change in our economy and my sucky timing, but phew. I love traveling but it's hard work with very little reward.

I hope this changes in time but along with all the shit brewing from sps, I suspect turning profit traveling wont change any time soon.

I've also found:

1. Durban anywhere but Umhlanga is the most dangerous.

2. Port Elizabeth the most expensive (no clue why)

3. Cape town loves to make promises to get you there... and then 80% never show up.

Let's break down finances needer before one gets on a plane:

A. Plane tickets (average) @ R3000 return.
B. Got to have accommodation for atleast the 1st three nights (average @ R1200 pn) = R3600.
C. Uber to and from airports (average) @ R500
D. Extra luggage @ R250
F. Supplies @ R500
G. Food etc (average for 3 days) @ R1000

That amounts to R10500,00 before I even get on the plane.

It's alot of money to sit in a hotel room day in and out and have people cancle and ghost and then maybe have one or 2 bookings if you're lucky...Pack and Unpack...deal with every excuse on earth and not even a single, hey listen have you eaten? Or can I pay a cancelation fee...

So I pass for now, but I really do hope it changes soon!

Untill it does though... Any one that wants to book me privately or sponsor flights and a nights stay please don't hesitate to get in touch!

I'm just not comfortable taking the risk on myself anymore. Just can't afford it. The effort and losses is not worth it.

Ps: Im generalizing. My viewpoint may not be the same as the next lady. Its just my 2 cents.

I do miss all my babes everywhere. Badly. But I do hope to see you all again someday when the stars align and the odds are in our favour!

Take care babies :)

Kisses
Ang

Hello to the OP.

I know a few ladies, 3 to be exact who started travelling to Durbs. It started with punters asking when they would visit, if ever.

Two of them now travel there often, sharing accommodation and costs.

They do on average 5-8 clients a day each, with raving reviews to prove they were well received.

They have not yet visited another city, but I am sure they will if they are invited.

I believe many would love to travel, but are clueless on where to start. I always believe that if you're busy in Joburg, you'll be busy in other major cities.

Some newbies to travel just need a little nudge :)
