As to the economy...looking at the rise of beggars, unemployment, uncertainty in workspace, no bonus or 13th salary, inflation on the rise...i would say very few households, never mind this industry, are not challenged and thus close to breaking point....and this was even before lock-down...imagine the nightmare now.

That about sums it up as said many times before.

Punters don't want to chance wasting and paying again when you can go to a regular that you're almost guaranteed a good time and know you get the things you like instead of risking the school fees.

I wouldn't take this too lightly in this country. She could be hurt and scared. If there is anything we can do to help we should. We don't want to be the guy doing the video showing the rest of the world what is happening when we could have helped make a difference.

Anyways the guys name and number is in the post title, it appears she tried to post a new topic in a panicked state but here it is.

Few days ago in our area an elderly couple allowed municipal workers claiming to be from eskom into their house. They were badly beaten and hospitalized. This being an eldery couple that would not hurt a fly.

Not undermining the situation but this kind of post could open up all kinds of abusive situations one should tread carefully.

@AnthonyEdwards you are genuinely one of the great ones. We need more men like you out in the world, your first instinct is to help and protect and ask questions later, instead of wondering if she is being dramatic or what she did to upset the guy or some of the other ridiculous things I have heard in these situations.

One of the reasons why abusive situations continue is because the victims are made.to feel like they can't speak out for fear of causing more trouble. It is a self perpetuating cycle and the longer we think that it's better to keep it quiet, the worse off of people will be.

Back to the topic though, that's great repeat business, I also tend to see the same gents over and over and it's not uncommon to have days at a time with no brand new clients at all.
We are Definitely lucky when they choose to spend their hard earned money on us time and time again.
