Shouldn't have to handle anything, we live in a country where names are sometimes weird, so it can be difficult to tell if a name matches the person, ie Leslie can be male or female, as can jamie or several others,

if the shop owner is suspicious he can just ask for ID, and I'm sure it wouldnt be the first time the guy was asked

I had a friend Gert, who had to appear in court. So they call Gert Johannes Van Xxxxx. She was a few secs late. And here comes a queen in black and white peplum top and a black pencil skirt, pantihose and a pair of medium heel courts with blonde wig. Gert borrowed my clothes for the court appearance. The case had to do with the fact that she is trans. Some guys gave her shit because of that so she moered one. The judge couldn't help but have a giggle. She said 'Dis nou nie maar wat ek verwag het nie' but the fact that she went to court as the whole community knew her was quite a statement. It also put the case into perspective. Case was thrown out.
Well I have also wondered about the travelling thing.
