Probably get R7k value if you take up good deals and you can do it over time. You can buy pretty much everything, including day to day things there so rather just order those in Take A Lot and use the money you was gonna spend on them to punt and get a better or at least fair value for it.

Hell, if you really want to take a loss, buy R5k items and sell it on a marketplace for R4,700 brand new sealed with receipts. It's still a good deal and only a small loss.

Kinda like the barter deals for laptops and cell phones. Most of the guys I know that enquired for those, ended up just selling it to cash converters instead and used the money to get 4-5 punts equal to the offer they were getting for the same item on barter.

Don't be a fool and get taken for a ride.
