The one I got to sample once was more of a camping style one - 2 strips of canvas stretched between a folding metal frame.
I'm sure one could always use something makeshift, like balancing between 2 chairs

Lol @Sylvia.. its possible but would be too much work with very little pay off at the end.. japanese bath stools are for sale in amazon real cheap so anyone that really wants to experience this can order their own and bring it along for a session;) .

Had something similar from a girl in CT. Havnt seen her add up for a while.
Used to shower with you, then get you on the plinth, and give a good massage, when you looked like you were going to break her plinth, she would get you on your knees and do something similar before getting you on your back to continue.
