My guess is that she didn't quite understand your intention behind it...

A few months ago a client booked me a week in advance. A day before our date, he had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and politely asked me if he could send me an Ewallet to give me something, to make up for it.
Even though I told him it wasn't necessary, he said he he would really love to.
I accepted it with gratitude and much jubilance, lol! What a joy!

Guys like you bring real sparkle to our lives and we are deeply grateful.

I think your generosity is superb.

I however also understand why the lady would question, as there is guys who would so to say donate the money then request services not rendered or show up at your work space uninvited when ever they choose on the basis they have been providing you with extra cash.

Now you might not be one of those guys who give generously with different intentions yet how will she know if not aloud to ask.
