@Nic - this is my biggest worry as well.
I'm guessing that the lack of response from the long term punters confirms our fears.

I take every step to be safe, but I also get myself tested for STD's two to four times a year. I don't punt where I live. There are many ladies, but no decent ones. I do my punting mostly when I visit gauteng. According to the people where I get tested my area has extremely high rates of syphillis.
