Btw side note, some of the vaalies who i know who went to CT over December told me they didn't give a shit becoz it's not their problem. They took long showers, bath the kids and insisted on fresh towels and linen changes every day at hotels they were staying at.
Hope their bad behaviour don't unleash karma to fuck up our water in Gauteng!

That's kind of a dick move. I was there in November visiting friends. Took extreme care not to waste a drop. Bathed in a patheticly small amount of water every day. Didn't flush after peeing. Took ample supplies of wet wipes and hand sanitizer, and cleaned my hands with those after going to the loo. At any moment it could be our problem too. It's really selfish of those people.

It's always good to read something this positive for a change. Much respect to you RubyWinchester for being considerate. Like I said earlier on this thread that the drought could hit back to those places where for now are sipping on Chardonnay. One should not kick a dog when it's down cause Karma is definitely one remorseless bitch hey!

I am extremely chary of wasting water.
My property has four, yep 4, Jojo tanks connected to the gutters. After a thunderstorm in Jhb I have 4x2500L =10.000 L of precious water for my garden.
There is a morally decrepit mentality which sees water only as a commodity which can be paid for.
Joburgers stop your sprinklers!!
