Appearing aloof or not facing the camera for me is a turn off. To explain this better is if you seem otherwise engaged (looking into the distance or rubbing your feet or such or considering your drink as if it holds the answers).
Phone manner is important to me in a big way, call me darling or lovey or something along those lines makes the whole thing come across as fake. I make a point of giving you my name but then you call me something else is kinda meh. Yeah I get it, you get loads of calls but remembering my name for 40 seconds isn't a massive ask, lol.
