I unfortunately in the past have learnt my lesson with keeping time slots open for clients, turning other bookings down then losing money cause the booking never pitched. So I stopped taking bookings and would say to clients call me just before you want to come see me to see if I'm available. Only Esa punters cause I find them so much more reliable would I keep bookings for, because I find Esa punters are serious about bookings if they make a booking. So.... An Esa punter calls me earlier, says he's leaving the Bluff will be here in half an hour, so I get another two calls during that time and turn them down saying I've got a client on the way.
After 40 minutes of waiting I call him and ask if he's still on his way and he says, 'no sorry, I had to stop on my site' so I say, 'must I still wait for you or can I take another booking cause I've lost two bookings now?' He says no he will call me later.. So I quickly try saving at least one of the other two bookings I lost but they already went elsewhere...
So gents, you see, unfortunately it's cause of idiots like that which makes us females skeptical to take bookings for set times and often some girls double book themselves in order not to lose money like I did...
Grrrrr, I don't often vent on here but hate losing money like that...

Unfortunately that is part of the trade.

Instead of save your clients numbers save the numbers of time waiters punter warnings and people you would rather not see it just saves you a lot of time and aggravation ;)
