I live abroad and return to SA about every year to 18 months. The prices have varied. At the moment the prices are probably in the R1000 per hour range, subject to area and what services you want.

The larger issue for irregular punters is how to whittle the choices down to those that really are worthwhile, so as to not waste time and money. I can't help you there. It's still a gamble for me.

As for texting the girls? No. Pick up the phone. You may be nervous at first but it helps. You can tell a lot. A good telephone technique sets you at ease. A cold and clinical technique turns you off.

(In my experience, texting also tells a lot about the girl, specially when she can't even reply with a generic description of her services... If she can't copy&paste, she won't do much in bed.)

I see HOE is renting the rooms at the same price of 5 years ago... I wonder if the girls are charging the same?

fanesa, are you telling the ladies on WhatsApp you are not in SA? If yes, they probably think you are wasting their time. Keep in mind, they are bothered by a lot of peeps...

The going gold before the SA trip sounds like a master plan! You'll get to see more and for some reason the ladies think gold is a Millionaires Club, so they always respond to PM's from goldies.

What one man like would turn off another. So, best to keep searching for yourself.

When I started the thread I only wanted to know if the "market" has changed a lot from what I knew 3 years ago... and it seems it didn't. That's all I need to organize my trip better. :-)
