You must just be careful getting there - once you are in the club, it is incredibly safe. I go there often when I am up in JHB as I like black WG's - I try and not leave there after 21h00 as I always worry getting out of Hillbrow.

This thread will give you a lot of info on Summit Club:

Final word - if you do not like black or asian WG's then you are wasting your time by going there

Enjoy

Yeah, if you're coming from Parktown or Houghton shouldn't be a problem. Street is quite busy, very little like hood of serious crime and not too deep into Hillbrow, z5 mins drive from either of these 2 suburbs max, place has a safe, paid arming with guard escort opposite. Quite a number of older white guys frequent the place

To answer MCPHISH's question and I haven't been there for years now but I'm a white guy and I used to go there, Bobby & Gavin always ran a tight ship and with Elvis at the door being 6ft plenty and built like a brick shithouse people would be too scared to cause shit.

Personally it's too dodgy going there now and why would you want to anyways? 15 years ago we had no choice as they were one of the few places operating. With all Lolly's clubs (remember he started with The Gold Card Club) it made accessing fun a bit easier. Nowadays there's bucket loads of safer places to access and frequent so my short answer would be skip it, not really a place you want to get tangled up in.

The only issue is getting there - I stress driving through Hillbrow for obvious reasons. Once you are in the club, there are NO issues whatsoever - incredibly safe

The only reason for going there is if you like black WG's - if you do not like black WG's then you are wasting your time as there is not a single white WG there. There are a few OK Asian WG's but they are not really my thing
