Hi Guys,
Well it has been a busy two weeks so thought it was only appropriate that I drop in before the new week and update you all.
The renovations have come on in leaps and bounds and so far we have finally managed to say goodbye to the painter, builder (for now) and electrical guys.
The venue painting inside has as of today been completed and if I do say so myself looks amazing. Am definitely not going to miss the multi / badly chosen colours we received the venue in. Suddenly the rooms are bigger, cleaner and have that brand new feel.
From and electrical point we have managed to put down lighting into each and every room and the girls can now dim for atmosphere. Other fixes you wont notice have been implemented and to say this has been a long two weeks of quote changes is a mild understatement as more and more problems cropped up. In the end though we are finished there for now.
This week also saw us gut the top bathroom, the plumber and I came to the conclusion that the bath tub could have served as a nuclear fall out shelter during the Apartheid years. It took three hours and four guys to remove but it has made way for the most beautiful floor and wall 20mm Travatine Marble you have ever seen. The fantastic Marble men should be done by Tuesday and then we can arrange the Jacuzzi delivery and installation. Hopefully by the middle of the week room one will be open and ready for business.
We are then hoping to move onto the second room in order to install the first of the five showers. Having to still operate we are going to do one room at a time in order to keep the contracting work totally isolated from here on out. Until the first is completed I cannot give a time line but the job and nature of it have me optimistic that it should be fairly quick.
This weekend also saw an idea come to mind that I wont let slip just yet as it is a massive surprise. Save to say it will see the fusion of my expertise in the industry with Sam's meaning something very exciting and completely different from anything any other venue is doing or has done.
I would like to thank everyone for supporting not only us but the girls through this difficult time, we promise that when it comes to officially launching the completed venue we will not forget our loyal customers and friends.
As for our girls they have been amazing, not one has left us during the sudden move. As much as it has hurt them financially they have remained loyal showing once again that we are a family. Shameless I know but guys please the best way we can thank them is for you to support them.
Amore, Cameron, Nicole, Mandy, Jasmin, Kim, Jessy, Holly, Simone, Cleo and my two under 21 year olds that I cannot mention as someone complained the last time I did, thank you for everything and we promise to push the venue to new heights as thanks for your loyalty.
Have a great week guys and will keep you posted as we go along.
Landline number is the same but for those that have lost it: 011 615 0925
Regards
Sean
Ps- If you have any suggestions on how we can make the venue even greater please drop me a mail here, it after all your venue as well.
