Like most people, i do care to put my best foot forward.
They say life is a "bitch" and then u die.
Thus my disinterest in pettiness.
I aint the confrontational type nor entertian those that are.
A moaner even less...for that tralala has been heard so many times that one has to stifle that yawn so as not to be offensive.
Sadly, there are those that suffer from paranoia and go through life in a state of disatisfied misery identify themself in most conversations, imaginable thought or event.
A bit narcissistic ......or ......feeling guilty.
I sometimes think people walk around with blinkers and only know things from the opinion of others. Taking the hearsay as fact and baaa baaaa baaaaing in unison with what most say. The loudest tends to win.....right or wrong.
Reading about that small " tottie" (many posted in jest, a humour that made my heart merry) ,
that turtleneck ( just make sure the " subject" revealed is an exemplary member of hygiene),
a body less perfect.....a toothpick or rolly polly (for mine is flawed in oh so many ways),
all potential challenges for men.
Yes. If u allow them to be.
Criticism or cruel banter at the expense of others tends to hold more sway as to how we see ourselves and somehow rings more true.
Low self esteem? Or statement of fact?
For women, The big booty was shunned by so many until J.lo and the Kardashian clan made it kickass bootilicious. Now all of a sudden women feel liberated and "Miss Twiggy" aint necessarily the first choice.
Silicone boobies. Botox and who knows what else, No longer viewed as the best kept secret (lie) and rather flaunted with confidence.
So why the shift?
Because hollywood says it is ok and has changed the meaning of desirable and beautiful.
The more u say it is, the more it becomes so.
A theory that may apply to most things in life.
I suppose there aint nothing wrong in keeping up with the times....the problem being, we become our own worst enemy and happiness dwindles with every new wrinkle, the gravitational down pull, the thinning of hair........
Is that what we have become? A society where the natural is no longer appealing...the search for the fountain of youth that Achilles heel to sanity?
Do men and woman know how to age gracefully? Welcome aging graciously? There is no escaping it.
Sigh.....i just noticed another wrinkle....Thank goodness at least my ass is in fashion.
Now where is the closest clinic for botox???
GRIN. How shallow we have become.
But come.
Let us share in our shallowness and try reach a deeper meaning with every stroke, every thrust, every tease. (wink)
Happy Friday!!!
