I would think the poor telephone etiquette the OP was referring to is the disinterested manner in which some WG's answer the phone.
I'm sure many punters, including myself, have wanted to cut the call right there and then when the WG answers as if you've just awoken her up from a deep slumber (and it's only 5pm), sounds disinterested or it's too much trouble or as if she's doing you, the potential paying customer, a favour, and you've barely introduced yourself yet. While many WG answer in a cheerful, interested fashion, there are those that really sound like they are about to doze off or that you bugging them.
We know there are assholes out there that ask all sorts of shit but don't presume i'm one of them before we've even started our conversation !

I would like to put a spin on the above and actually encourage such poor telephone etiquette from that specific service provider I plan to engage, for in my opinion that is indicative of the feeble level of professionalism as well as the service (or lack thereof) to be expected.
Same serves to offer the opportunity to save me a below average punt and money wasted, for I will never endeavour making contact with same service provider again, let alone making an appointment.

Have to agree that there are times I call and the lady sounds totally disinterested and rattles off some speech she has given a gazillion times with zero personality. Hell I feel those people who blind call me to sell me something have more life than some ladies.

Why is this interaction on the call important to me? Well for sure I am not looking for some receptacle to deposit my sailors into ... I am looking for an experience ... Some fun and excitement
And for sure if u can't handle yourself on the phone correctly then you may just be a receptacle and no more and won't be seeing my Randelas

Ladies, questions are always going to come up as your profile is just a snap shot of who you are and does not contain all info needed to make a decision. So if the gent handles himself in a polite manner you need to answer the questions - the reasonable ones that is - and not be abrupt or rude. just to confirm I don't consider myself an asshole with regards to my telephone manner.
