yours is a voice of reason! Granted, if you expect all to be upmarket, and of course pay for such too, then that is your prerogative & choice - enjoy!
However, what you mentioned pertaining to performance (the actual experience) is by no means a given, in fact THAT is the point at discussion here!
You say you're not willing to find (out?), others are.
Think of this, la Dibella (sorry doll, but being #1 has drawbacks also :) also started out at the bottom once.... you think she was lousy then? Sure, I also don't know, but "Fat chance!" is likely a correct answer.
