11 more??? :-(
That's a mighty challenge, but here goes, let's see
11.music:different clients have different taste. So keep a selection of all from classic to romance and the spa salon selection of forest, rain etc... Music should not be too loud not too soft.maybe one can ask the client about their preferences.
12. Oil: most places advertise non scented but some don't mind the scented one's you get at a spa, so again ask the client their preferences. Buy definitely not baby oil.
13. Lighting: the room should not be too brightly lit up and so dark that you can't enjoy looking at the therapist. Should be able to dim to the client satisfaction.
14. Laundry: always have clean towels for each client on the massage bed and clean and fluffy towels in the bathroom not old worn out ones.
15. Toiletries: shower gel, soap, lotion and 2 ply toilet paper always available
16. Massage: no chancers please, therapist should have at least completed a course. No rubbing and just pressing.
17. Time: how long is a hour really? If I pay for 60min I expect to be massaged for 60min or at least 50min but 40min is a rip off. And the 60min should not include shower time. So as a venue you need to work out the appointments to allow clients shower time.
18. Ambience: the venue should have a spa feel to it not some old decorated haunting house. Rooms to have fragrance candles lit.
19. Telephone: many clients complain of not being able to get hold of the client or venues. Dedicated receptionist to answer all calls having full knowledge of the venue and what the therapist offer. Must have warm welcome friendly voice.
20. Suggestions: a box or an email to write to and get a decent response
21. Waiting game: never keep a client waiting outside long to be let in, it's nervous for us clients. Also inside the venue not to be left alone wandering who is going to come.
22. My bill will be mailed to you shortly :-)
