I hear you Jay, to an extent. But how far does one take that? She might as well then start asking callers what car they drive, then add a bit extra for the guys driving German cars.

Rather she works out her optimal rate and just charge that. If I'm running a consulting firm with offices based in Sandton, I'd set my hourly rate based on costs and profit margin, and not on whether one client heard about me on the radio, Twitter, is from Sandhurst or Soweto, etc.

Just like we expect restaurants in Sandton to be more pricey than Soweto or wherever (never been there myself just pulled a name) so will ESA in comparison to other sites whose advertisers generally I found either misleading or unreliable.

There is also a seemingly extra premium "for race" but that is a whole different discussion LOL but relevant to this topic. Will end it here - PM me for more bandwidth.

We do that to determine which ads work. Where most calls come from and ultimately how many of those calls convert to actual visits.

Asking that also helps to unroot unlawfully use of our info on lesser sites.

By asking I have found my whole ESA profile as it is, photos and write up, posted on not one but 3 different skanky site in the past 2 years.

Those sites steal and use legit info of real sps to create traffic to their sites, where they also have hundreds of catfish profiles.

I would never have known my info was used without my consent or been able to have it removed, if I did not ask where a caller found my number.

Yes guys might think it would be easier if ladies just had different numbers for different ads.. it ain't easier it just makes admin more complicated, juggling 2,3,4 phones to answer calls and getting to answer inquieries on as many whatsup profiles etc is a nightmare.

I have one number I use for all my ads and I will ask where you saw my ad, as I take my business serious, and I would not want to be spending money every month on an ad if I never get calls from it.

I chose to not pay for two other site ads over Desember and January based on the info I gathered over the previous 2 months, number of calls from those ads did not justify the expense over a period that is traditionally less busy than the rest of the year. Money saved.;)

I would have not put it better myself...

There is actually 3 others that are higher...But they not considered mainstream sites by most....they bit more exclusive or more geared towards certain services only.
