The yellow fever card usually lasts for 10 years and it takes 6 weeks prior to the date of travelling.

So, I should go re-do it - shots and all ... I dont remember it taking that long when I did it last time at the travel doctor. I just love being poked, lol!

Just some advice. Staple the Yellow Fewer Card to your Passport. Youre screwed if it get lost. I got mine on shorter notice at the travel clinic in Boksburg (less than 6 weeks).

I mean you need to have your injection 6 weeks before the date of your travel. I always carry mine together with my passport.

CDC advise and my experience shows you need it at least 10 days before travel
