I know there's doctors scientists here so I'm going to need your help here. How long does it take for the brain to die after a person has been decapitated?

I'm no doctor but I've watched game of thrones, I'd say instantly, there's no way anyone can convince me other wise. it's a vital part of the body but it can't function without it,and people would probably be too traumatized to study this, so what bought this on?

A couple seconds as its oxygen and blood that keeps the brain alive...as soon as u are decapitated and assuming its a clean single slice. You will know u are disconnected and then death
