Agreed. It takes a lot to admit when you've made a mistake. Most people just dig their heels in, and get more and more defensive.

But I really think that shakira realises that what she said crossed a line and offended a lot of people
and she's clearly willing to accept responsibility for that, and she clearly regrets doing it. Good for her.

Also fair play to mason. It takes a lot to be willing to forgive when someone offends you.

I really hope others follow her lead and accept the apology because even though she isn't posting as much as she used to, the forum just wouldn't be the same without Shakira.
