Just wondering how many clean out the plumbing.Been with a couple of really nice birds but it was a case of please close your legs,your breath is smelling.

Douching is not a good idea. If a woman smells, she needs medication not a betadine + warm water solution

All I know its the fishy smell is caused by 'a' bacteria, if I remember well enough that is.
Where does this come from, is it harmful (besides the stink), and what's the remedy? Oh, if swallowed by males (via oral) can it do anything?
Would love to know, I hunch others too!
I also thought that a regular douche would cure this ill but apparently not, but then again I only know how to clean a willy & arse... plus what is attached ;-)

@Naledi actually the term "douche" doesn't imply betadine at all. It's from the French word for "shower" and implies any spray of water. People who indulge in anal sex frequently douche their behinds to get rid of excess faeces, for example. So the term "douche" really just means to wash out with a steady stream of water. I understand that in medical circles the term implies a more substantial cleaning although I cannot imagine betadine would be safe to douche the vagina with, but I am not an expert.

Chmoks is right though, a smelly vajayjay is usually indicative of either a bacteria or some other chemical imbalance, which, ironically, can be caused by excessive douching.

There is a Betadine douche specifically made for vaginal use.

Not advisable to use on a regular basis though.

Cool thanks for the info. Betadine is pretty hectic so I assume its diluted. The stuff they use in surgeries stains the skin for days I can't imagine it being good for the money maker in that form!

@oraljim the stuff used in surgery contains 7,5% of povidone iodine and the douche solution contains 10%

@naledi Was that 75% or 7.5%? If the latter does that mean the douche one is *stronger* than the surgical one?

Edit 2: all of the prescribes uses on that site say its for external use only. However they also mention being suitable for mucus membranes, which is what the vajayjay is after all.

The smell is due to "high mileage", use protection and keep your mouth away from a WG's plumbing.
