I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction here. I do a lot of amateur/hobbiest photographer and would like to try my hand as an ESA photographer. I have emailed the support email add, but gotten no response as yet.

My best advice would be to build a portfolio (applicable one). Contact them again with it. In between see if you can attend one of the socials and talk to the guys.

If all else fail, try phoning the Esa office and discuss it with them. That way you don't have to wait for an email response.

Lol, cellphones take shitty photos purely due to their small sensor size and inability to record all pixels. Even if it states 20 megapixels it compares poorly to a dslr camera with Lowe megapixels and a larger sensor. I did however get a PM from a girl who might let me take some pics for her private gallery to test my skills with people photography, since I mostly do wildlife and macro photography.
