I know it's a little, or way off our usual topics...

I have been awake at crazy hours lately. Just to explain. I am working a normal job, doing this job in between. Organising the social. I am studying. Have assignments to hand in. And then this month, I had this crazy idea to enter NaNoWrimo. Which is huge pressure, but I am maintaining and loving the challenges. So please excuse the late night posts but my body clock has been set into over drive.

I am a bit surprised though, as I still make the time to read.

How come no one has brought up Jacques Pauw latest book The President's Keepers? Or did I miss it some where on the forum?

And NO I don't intend this topic to become racial. I am just interested to know how people feel about his literacal work and the situation we as South African's found ourselves in?

Am also having weird sleep patterns. Fell asleep around 8pm and woke up at midnight. Cannot fall asleep so now am up reading Sue Townsends "The Woman Who Went To Bed For A Year." Brilliant, hilarious, ridiculous and terrifying certifiable.

Is The President's Keepers still on the shelves? Would be interested in finding a copy.

I tried getting a copy last week , but was sold out wherever I tried .. Friend of mine sent me a pdf copy .. which I have just started reading ... I feel like it will be an interesting read ...

So difficult to get it on shelves around got mine at Jutas in JNB had to ask from the shop owner to keep one for me,,,,,,

not easy to let go of it neither to put it down so so brilliant book to have must say

This book has nothing to do with racism, it's all about Zuma and his cohorts stealing state money and trying their best to keep in charge until the country falls into economic crisis (which is very near). The surprising part though is why the anc has kept so quiet?
Me feels that at some point soon the Nkandla chickens are going (to jail) rather than coming home to roost !
