I personally dont do acupuncture however I recently had a injury that required Physiotherapy and I opted for dry needling which is recommended for treatment of specific point locations. Where as acupuncture is similar however it is focused on your meridians and is meant to alter the flow of Chi/Qi/Energy.
My treatment is a massage focused on the reflex and pressure points.
