Yes. I have a regular and a friend who are pro gamblers. But they are just good at it and they play big. The regular won a million the 1st time he gambled and he says he has been playing off that million all the years. He has won big many times and lost big as well and he quits when he is ahead and never keeps on to win back what he has lost. He quits
that day and lives to fight another day. The friend (plays horses) after almost 15/16 yrs has taken a regular job which still involves taking financial risks. An acquaintance brother also sees himself as gambler. He gets head hunted by international conglomerates. He buys shares when he starts at a company and sells.when he has turned the company around. For obvious reasons I cannot name drop but he is a Pound millionaire. On 702 business report they said one day that he makes more money leaving a company than what they paid Him while working there.

It is something that needs the same amount of work as anything else you want to be good at, you need to watch replays of earlier races run, need to know what websites to use to follow the correct stable money going on certain horses, then you can make good money from the game.There are no certainties but I have been involved with the game for around 40 years and have learnt what to do, am sitting around about 8 winners for every 10 horses I back , so am doing nicely in my hobby,being an ex trainer also helped me I suppose in knowing what to look for before I decide which stables , jockey's and money I will follow.

Me big time punter (horse racing)...but you need money to make money,you must have money to back your losses,know your jockeys,trainers and owners.
Corruption plays a role as well..big time
Sometimes the less you know the better,played a JP once ,banked a horse I did not want to banked (outsider),realise my bugger up to late could not fix it,the 40/1 outsider won,got the JP with a R 500 perm,I won R 40 000

Yes you can, but you must not be greedy and that is the problem. I do sports gambling and bet on basketball, baseball, rugby and soccer. On multiple bets you can get accumulated odds of 5/10 with little risk. Bet R2k and you make profit of R1k.
