That's not good news C. Wishing you a speedy recovery, it is very unpleasant.

As a medical Dr this information is terrible for us punters as well. The incubation period on mumps can last till 25 days till your symptoms show. So carrying the virus for that period of time has placed us all at risk.

Adult male mumps causes Orchitis which can cause a huge amount of nut sack un-comfort and some far reaching infertility and long term implications.

Thank you again for being honest C and as I will be, I'd suggest my fellow regulars have the test done to be sure. It's highly transmissible guys.
